Building Panels, Combat Mechanics, and Asset Integration
Hey everyone,
Exciting updates once again...
First off, I have successfully implemented building-specific panels, allowing for more tailored interactions within the game. Now, when players click on different buildings, they will have access to specific actions and functionalities, enhancing the strategic depth of our gameplay.
But that's not all. I have also added unit-to-building combat mechanics, a feature that adds another layer of complexity to our game dynamics. This would enable players to use their units to complete the objective of eliminating the enemies.
In addition to these gameplay enhancements, I've integrated the unit assets designed by Rikard into the game seamlessly. The units look fantastic and bring our game world to life.
Lastly, I am considering tidying up the game and shifting my focus to creating levels for the final demo. I am planning to further improve the user experience by adding some sound effects, but it is subjected to time.
