Enhancing User Interaction with Control Panel
Hey everyone,
Exciting updates from the development front—I have made some significant strides in creating our user interface!
I'm thrilled to announce that I've successfully implemented a basic 3-column RTS control panel UI. This UI is now clickable and can spawn gatherer units from the buildings they originate from.
However, I believe there's still room for improvement. While the basic functionality is in place, I recognise the need to refine the UI further. One area I will be focusing on is incorporating interactions and building-specific panels. For instance, clicking on the base should allow for the spawning of workers only, while clicking on the barracks should enable the creation of other attacking units.
Additionally, I'll be working on implementing unit-to-building combat mechanics. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to refine our user interface and gameplay mechanics.
